WTAPS Study
Intro
A series inspired by the visual world of WTAPS.
I wanted to capture their language: military precision, quiet discipline, and the way they express attitude through silhouettes more than faces.
My approach stays true to my style, working with posture, textures and a controlled, understated mood.
Artistic intent
This body of work explores the tension between uniformity and individuality, a theme that runs through WTAPS.
I focused on stripped down silhouettes, almost anonymous, letting the cuts, volumes and stance tell the story.
The goal wasn’t reproduction but interpretation. How can the WTAPS spirit translate into my own visual grammar.
Process
I start from photographic references, then remove everything that feels unnecessary.
Only the posture, balance and gesture remain.
From there I rebuild the image to create something quieter, more intentional.
WTAPS resonates with my current direction toward controlled compositions and minimal storytelling.

Submission for the new Statik Selektah single The Louvre featuring Rome Streetz, Westside Gunn, Stove God Cook and Joey Bada$$.
For this cover of The Louvre, I wanted to mix old-school and street. I painted a guy like in a 17th-century portrait—but he's wearing a hoodie, a cap, gold chains, and shades. Kind of royal, kind of rapper. I love crossing classic painting vibes with hip-hop energy.
Even though the artwork wasn’t selected in the end, the process of bringing this idea to life was super meaningful to me.
